1. Who we are and what these terms cover

DesignDB (the "Service", available at designdb.online) is operated by Pivix Innovations Pvt Ltd, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorised use.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the diagrams, schemas and comments you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you and the people you choose to share it with.

Diagrams are private unless you share them. You are responsible for who you invite and what permissions you give them. Do not put secrets such as passwords or production credentials into a diagram.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: break the law; upload content you have no right to share; attempt to access other users’ data or probe the Service for weaknesses without our written permission; overload or disrupt the Service; or use it to build a competing service by automated scraping.

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that breach these terms.

5. Generated output

SQL, DBML and other output the Service produces, including converted schemas between database engines, is provided as a starting point. Conversion between databases can change or drop features, and the Service reports what it can. Review and test generated output before running it against any real database.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, add or remove features. Keep your own copies of anything important; you can export your diagrams at any time.

7. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you in advance, and they will not apply to you without your agreement.

8. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, profits or business, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim (which is zero for free use). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending your use

You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the Service.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
